The Tregurtha Family Tree at present traces its linegage to Edward Tregurtha, born 1630 in the parish of Paul, Cornwall, and John Tregurtha, born 1646 in the parish of Breage, Cornwall.  Through Edward’s descendancy we have the Australian branch, started by Captain Edward Primrose Tregurtha, and from John Tregurtha we have a large branch that spread to four separate continents.  We are yet to find the missing link between these two branches.

As we work to bring together the Tregurtha family tree into a single lineage, we first have to piece together the various known branches from around the world. When we make a connection across nations and generations, the trees connect and our genealogy becomes more clear and exciting.
